 FROM THE BIBLE TO THE FUTURE OF HUMAN ECONOMY 

Join us on a journey to explore the adventure of Spirit, from the dawn of history to the future of Western civilization. In a semester led by Tomáš Sedláček, we will discuss economics, philosophy, modern mythology, and films. In the charming attic of Malostranská Beseda, you'll experience ten inspiring evenings (+ two bonus sessions). Together, we'll examine the state of the world, Europe, and our beloved Bohemia through the unique method of "Body, Soul, and Spirit." This is everything we should have learned in school but didn't: critical thinking, the material and immaterial aspects of economics, and the adventurous face of science and discovery.

All sessions are conducted in English, welcoming both English-speaking visitors and those eager to improve their language skills.

Macroeconomic overview of the planetary economy, Europe, Bohemia. The current crises, inflation, weak growth, ecology and the new economy. Trends and the example of Ireland and Switzerland. The changing nature of the economy – the transition from the physical economy to the intangible economy and the advent of AI. Two economic MegaTrends that have accompanied us since the beginning of time and that we must get on board.

How are we doing in international comparison? The second half of the evening will be devoted to the interactive "escape from state bankruptcy" or hope for the Czech budget in a nutshell. Euro.

We will end the semester with the presentation of diplomas on completion of the study program and a final debate on the body, soul and spirit of beer.

You can find us in the attic of Malostranská beseda. You have to climb the stairs to the top floor (or take the elevator).
